Analysis and Reason for Predictions

The Jazz have lost the momentum

Utah Jazz will be hoping to arrest the current slump in form and rebound from a two-loss streak on Saturday evening when they travel to Footprint Center to take on Phoenix Suns.

This is a back-to-back affair for both teams following their matches against Detroit and Golden State last night.

The Jazz fell to the Pistons in the first of their two games 116-125 on Wednesday. Head coach Will Hardy was not happy with how his team looked defensively in that game.

It was the second straight match in which the Jazz allowed at least 120 points which is certainly not a positive sign ahead of the clash with one of the deadliest offensive teams in the competition.

This is a tough back-to-back for the Suns

Phoenix Suns may well use this game to rest their main stars, namely Devim Booker who has been fabulous since the beginning of the season.

The Western Conference leaders had a tough away game against Golden State Warriors on Friday and this match comes less than 24 hours after it.

The Suns have generally been in good form recently. They won three of the last four games. The team led by Monty Williams sit in the top six in both offensive and defensive ratings.

The Suns are still without their main playmaker Chris Paul. In his absence, Cameron Payne got another role. He has seven assists in the 115-105 win over Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday.

Monty Williams may rest Booker on Saturday

Phoenix Suns faced Golden State Warriors last night. While Utah were also in action on Friday, they had a much easier game against Detroit Pistons. Expecting Monty Williams to rest some of his main stars (namely Booker), we are backing Utah Jazz to win in +7.5 points at the -110 odds. These two teams are inside the top-four in the league’s offensive ratings this season which is why we will also take the Over 225.5 points bet at the -110 odds.
