Turkey vs Montenegro Prediction

Montenegro will hope to end a four-game losing thread on Friday evening in the clash against Turkey in the UEFA Nations League Matchday No 3.

It will be easier said than done, though. This is the tie between top and bottom of Group 4.

Turkey are flying high with four points from the opening two matches in the competition.

They left a much better impression in the recent affairs, especially in the second round’s 3-1 home win over Iceland.

The team led by Italian manager Vincenzo Montella completely controlled the happenings on the pitch from the first to the final minute of the contest.

They ended the game with more than 20 attempts and their hero was Benfica’s Kerem Akturkoglu who completed a hat-trick on the occasion.

As for Montenegro, they started the competition with back-to-back losses at the hands of Iceland and Wales, scoring just once in the process.

Turkey have been on a rise of late. They made it to the Euro quarter-final in the summer and they have continued with strong performances at the beginning of the Nations League.

The story is completely opposite with Montenegro who have lost four games on the trot. The visitors have never been at a major tournament.

The Montenegrin side has been particularly weak in defence of late, shipping at least two goals in each of the previous five affairs in all competitions.

This should be a one-way street by all means and we will back Turkey to win by two or more goals difference as the main betting option at the odds of 2.10.
