Lyngby vs Odense Prediction

Lyngby will be hoping to arrest the current slump in form and terminate a three-loss streak on Saturday evening when they host bottom-half rivals Odense in the first game of the 14th Superligaen round.

Lyngby got off to a solid start to the 2023/24 season but their form has seen a huge slide in recent weeks.

The team led by Icelandic manager Freyr Alexandersson scored just one goal in the last three league affairs, conceding as many as nine in the process.

They did offer a decent resistance last weekend in a narrow 1-2 loss at Midtjylland. Can such a result help them gain confidence ahead of the important match against Odense?

Odense’s journey so far in the season has been diametrically opposite to the one of Lyngby’s. They started poorly but managed to find at least some sort of rhythm in the last several weeks.

Odense have improved their defensive displays drastically of late and we expect them to sit tight at the back and wait for their chances from the counter-attacks on Saturday.
