Leeds vs Watford Prediction

Leeds kept their third subsequent clean sheet on Wednesday when they played a goalless draw away at Hull in the seventh round of the Championship.

The Peacocks limited the rivals to just a single shot on target in the 90 minutes of play on the road despite playing the final half an hour with ten men on the pitch due to Joe Rodon’s red card.

Daniel Farke’s men are now unbeaten in five straight league affairs and they’ve climbed to the ninth position in the league table as a consequence.

Leeds’ in-form defensive line will be looking for another strong performance on Saturday afternoon when Watford come to visit Elland Road in Gameweek No 8.

Watford are also on a positive run of their own after going unbeaten in three consecutive Championship outings.

They shared spoils with West Brom after an eventful first half on Wednesday evening at Vicarage Road.

Brazilian attacker Matheus Martins got his third goal of the season on the occasion. Head coach Valerien Ismael can be thrilled with the obvious improvements in his team’s attacking performances as the Hornets notched seven goals in the previous three league affairs.

The visitors are 14th in the league table, sitting just one point shy of Saturday’s rivals.
