Brentford vs West Ham Prediction

Brentford opened the season with one win in the inaugural eight games but managed back-to-back successes against Burnley and Chelsea in the previous two rounds to break into the top half of the Premier League standings.

The Bees will search for their third straight win on Saturday afternoon when they play host to West Ham in Matchday No 11.

Bryan Mbeumo stole the show for Brentford in recent weeks, managing a goal and an assist in each of the last two league affairs.

On top of his form, Thomas Frank can be thrilled with the team’s defensive sowings as Brentford managed to keep their net untouched in the last two outings.

The hosts certainly enter this tie as the form favorites knowing about West Ham’s run of three subsequent defeats across competitions.

The Hammers did not offer pretty much anything in the final third in a disappointing 0-1 home defeat to Everton last Sunday at London Stadium.

The defensive line is not functioning properly either with the team failing to keep a clean sheet in any of five competitive affairs in October.

Brentford enter this as the favorites for a reason but we would not ignore the value offered with West Ham here. The Hammers are still above the Bees in the Premier League standings (by one point) and they possess enough quality in their ranks to get a result at Gtech Community Stadium.
