Everton and Tottenham will close the Matchday No 29 on Monday evening at Goodison Park. The two outfits will continue their diverse battles in a very important game on so many levels.
Sean Dyche has managed to instill some confidence into this Everton squad as the Toffees have shown signs of obvious improvements in the recent outings.
Everton will go into this unbeaten in three straight league games. A return of four points from the previous two league games against the likes of Brentford and Chelsea is certainly beyond satisfying for the home team’s fans.
The Toffees showed great resistance in the 2-2 stalemate against Chelsea two weeks ago at Stamford Bridge.
They have moved up to 15th place in the Premier League table as a consequence. However, Sean Dyche still has a lot of work to do with just two points dividing Everton form the danger zone.
Tottenham will visit Goodison off the back of a turbulent international break marked by Antonio Conte scandals in press-conferences.
Conte is no longer the team’s head coach as Cristian Stellini was appointed interim manager last Sunday.
It will be very interesting to see how the players will react, especially after their dismal performance in a 3-3 stalemate away at Southampton in the previous round.
