Lincoln Red Imps vs The New Saints
UEFA Europa League
Date: Thursday, 2nd August 2018
Kick-Off at 18:00 UK / 19:00 CET
Venue: Victoria Stadium (Gibraltar).
The New Saints edged out a 2-1 win in a tight first leg contest and the tie hang in the balance when the teams meet again this Thursday.
Lincoln are only making their second appearance at the qualifiers and they suffered a humiliating 6-1 aggregate defeat against Cypriot outfit AEK Larnaca in their debut last season.
TNS have enough experience playing at this level, yet they are not known for making deep runs into the later stages.
Therefore, punters must once again expect a tight clash when these two meet at the Victoria Stadium this midweek.

Lincoln Red Imps vs The New Saints Match Preview
The New Saints were on the brink of one of the greatest comebacks in the history of football as they were just one goal shy of coming back from a 0-5 defeat in the first leg of their Champions League tie with Macedonian Shkendija.
Everyone believed the Macedonian champions had closed the tie when they won the first game 5-0 in front of the home crowd, but Scott Ruscoe’s men had other plans and they were super close of making them reality eight days ago at Park Hall Stadium.
The Saints got a three-goal cushion ten minutes before the break, but they only found the fourth goal not before the 96-th minute of the game as there was no time for the amazing comeback to be completed.
Ruscoe and his troops were thus moved to Europa League where they’ve been rewarded for such brave display with a fantastic draw.
The Welsh champions will battle Gibraltarian Lincoln Red Imps for the place in the third qualifying round of Europa League. Do we have to mention they will be massive favorites against such opposition, especially after the display shown in the tie with Shkendija?
Lincoln even failed to make it to the first qualifying round in the Champions League. They reached the preliminary round final after beating Maltese La Fiorita, but Kosovar champions Drita were too strong in the final, beating them 1-4 after extra-time.
The minnows from Gibraltar have not been in action ever since that loss which happened almost a month ago, meaning we have to put their players’ fitness in doubt here.
