FC Santa Coloma vs FC Drita
Champions League Preliminary Round
Date: Tuesday, 26 June 2018
Kick-Off at 16:00 UK
Venue: Victoria Stadium (Gibraltar).
FC Santa Coloma and Drita are going to face each other in the semi-finals of the Preliminary round in the Champions League.
FC Santa Coloma won the double last season and they are hoping of a successful campaign at least in this preliminary round. There are many veterans in this team and their most famous player is former Guingamp striker Cedric Faure. They have been doing a very good job in the front, while their defence allowed just 20 goals last season.
Drita managed to hold Prishtina to a draw in the last round and win the title, the first one in their history. Bekim Isufi’s side suffered only two defeats, however they have been involved in many draw matches. Their attacking line produced the highest number of goals in the league while their defence did a pretty good job.
FC Santa Coloma vs Drita: Head-to-head
These two sides haven’t faced each other in their history yet and this one will be the first opportunity for them to take one on another.
Santa Coloma vs Drita: Prediction
Both teams are pretty anonymous and it is hard to compare their domestic leagues and quality of their squads. Since this is a one-leg clash which is going to be played in Gibraltar, the Andorran champions will have much shorter trip and that might be their advantage although the odds are pretty high for their win.
We are expecting a tight clash as both sides have been doing well in the back and the skills of their forwards are more than questionable.
