Rudar Velenje travel to Villach, Austria for their friendly clash against Spartak Moscow on the back of a 7-0 Europa League Qualifiers win over Tre Fiori, returning to the winning ways after a rather unconvincing pre-season spell of form. They now look to build on their consistency ahead of the new campaign in Slovenia but Marjan Pusnik’s men could be in in for a tough task at Sportplatz ESV Admira Villach.
Spartak Moscow have started their pre-season campaign in late June too and they’ve been somewhat more convincing, as they bagged four wins in five outings – with just a 3-1 loss to Rijeka seen along the way. They’ll now want to show off as a tough defensive side and we do feel we’re in for a narrow contest despite no high stakes involved.
Narodnaya komanda have beaten Sochi, Rotor Volgograd, Avangard Kursk, and Slovacko along the way and kept clean sheets on all of the occasions. Although Rudar should be more of a challenge, Massimo Carrera will want his men to build on such performances here!

We will now back Spartak to build on such performances in Austria and bag a narrow win, which comes at 1.50 and looks solid value despite Rudar being more of a challenge than Narodnaya komanda have been used to recently.
They’ve been rock-solid at the back and we believe they’ll have to base their success on such a display once again, as we also back Under 2.5 goals FT at 1.95.
We’ve seen such matches in four of Spartak’s last five outings as well as two of Rudar’s respective last three – which does serve as further evidence.
