Real Madrid vs Sevilla

14-time European champions Real Madrid are once again on a roll. They are at the top of the table, and are yet to lose a fixture. Meanwhile, Sevilla are finding it extremely hard to recreate their form from old days.
So far they managed to register just two wins, and these two victories came against two weak squads in the league – Mallorca, and Espanyol.
They are also placed 12th in the table at the moment, and so far from their ten games, they were able to record just 10 points against their name.
All along they conceded goals quite in plenty, and at the same time they struggled to keep clean sheets too.
The way they started their campaign on the road was quite telling – as they went on a two-game losing streak, and that too against two weak teams in the Spanish top flight.
Meanwhile, we have the all-conquering Real Madrid on the other side. They are at the top of the table with a perfect winning record, barring a draw. This stretch also includes wins against arch-rivals Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid.
Going on, this is the first game after Karim Benzema won the Ballon d’Or, and the French striker will be presenting the award to his home crowd this weekend before the game commences.
That would be extra motivation for the Los Blancos to go after the win this Saturday. Moreover, they also have a superb h2h record against this rival over the years.
Real Madrid are easily the favorites this weekend at their home.
Not once have the Royal Whites lost this season. In fact, since they won the Champions League the last May, it’s been highs for them.
On the other hand, Sevilla have been in a mess right from the start of the campaign. Seldom have they won lately, and on top of that they are now on the road – pitted against possibly the best in Europe.
Surely expect Real Madrid to be the better team on the pitch by a mile this weekend.
