Shkupi have finished fourth in Macedonian First League with a great streak late in the campaign, as they travel to Glasgow for possibly the game of their campaign on the back of four wins earned in May. They’ve beaten Pelister twice, Renova, and most importantly outclassed Vardar 4-1 in front of the home crowd on the final day.
They will now be very motivated to build on such convincing records but it’s fair to say the trip to Ibrox Stadium is not something Shkupi are used to, still regularly struggling to put on convincing displays on the road.
Rangers will now look to capitalize on it and bag a convincing advantage ahead of the trip to Skopje, where they have a solid Premiership campaign behind them and come into the match on the back of a couple of very high-scoring displays.
