Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Pyunik Analysis for Prediction
After a bore goal-less draw in the first leg, Maccabi resume the Europa League tie against Pyunik on a confident mood.
The Armenian side Pyunik defeated the likes of Vardar and Tobol in the previous rounds. However, they have a clear disadvantage in away nights since they are a side that won just 3 of their 19 away matches in all competitions since last August.
Meantime, Maccabi Tel Aviv won their previous two rounds by solid wins at home with the away leg ending in draws.
Thus, the best bet for this match has to be backing the hosts on Asian Handicap.

Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Pyunik Preview
Maccabi defeated Radnicki Nis from Serbia and Hungarian club Ferencvaros in the previous rounds on the back of home wins. The two away games during the period were scored draws and therefore, Vladimir Ivic and his men must up the ante here, since we have seen some surprise results already at the competition.
This is the first time that Pyunik won two rounds of football at the competition and their overall record in Europe is nothing to talk about.
In the previous round, the Armenians edged out Kazakhstani outfit Tobol Kostanay on away goals. They lost the first leg away 1-2 before a narrow 1-0 win at home.
Pyunik’s top performance came in the first round against experienced campaigners Vardar Skopje, a tie they won 3-0 on aggregate with back-to-back wins.
Without a doubt, Maccabi are the better side with quality players and have vast experience of playing in Europe.
For Pyunik, this is a surprise that they reached this far and I see them as huge underdogs over the two legs.
