The preliminary round tie between Prishtina and Europa is still wide open after a 1-1 draw in the first leg played seven ago at Victoria Stadium.
It was a rather close contest which saw Gibraltarian Premier Division runners-up break the deadlock just before the interval when Enrique Carreno successfully converted the penalty-kick. Kosovar runners-up needed no more than five minutes to respond through Meriton Korenica’s equalizer early in the second half.
Prishtina thus continued the fine streak by making it 13 consecutive matches without a defeat across competitions. But, can they keep things tight at the back here?
The continuation of such streak with either a goalless draw or any win would help them pass the initial hurdle for the first time ever in this competition, following a 0-6 on aggregate elimination to Norrkoping in their debut season last time out.

The two sides did not have the opportunity to cross each other’s paths before the aforementioned first leg tie at Victoria Stadium.
It could have gone either way, but the draw seems to be the fair solution as both teams had their bright moments throughout the 90 minutes of play.

Europa have a much larger European experience even though they did not make a special success over the course of history.
The Gibraltarian side did prove out to be a tough nut to crack to Swedish AIK two years ago losing both legs only narrowly (0-1 each). If we count the 1-1 draw with Prishtina, they conceded just four goals in last five games in Europa League.
The hosts, on the other side, scored just once in three Europa League outings which does little to justify the 1.72 favourites tag they have with the bookies.
Backing a low-scoring contest looks to be a much better call at the 1.60 odds as we expect an even tighter affair when these two likes take on each other in Kosovska Mitrovica.
