Partizan have had a somewhat unpredictable spell of form through the pre-season but they’ve outclassed Rudar Pljevlja in the first leg and made a huge step towards the next round with a 0-3 win at Stadion Kraj Bistrice, with goals from Jevtovic, Soumah, and Ricardo Gomes. They now host the rivals at Stadion Partizana and hope to build on the performance, finally retaining consistency early in the campaign.
Rudar only played one pre-season game and we’ve seen them hold Mladost Lucani to a goalless draw, which will be no confidence booster by itself either. Furthermore, they’ve struggled to show off on the road and this could prove even more worrying, as Vuko Bogavac’s men look to overturn a three-goal advantage.
Black-Whites have been very confident at this ground through most of the past season and we do feel they’ll want to base their success on such performances here again – which promises a motivated outfit and rock-solid performance on the day despite all but decided contest in the first leg already.
