Maidenhead United vs Eastleigh
England – National League
Date: Tuesday, 4 September 2018
Kick-Off at 19:45 UK
Venue: York Road Stadium (Maidenhead).
In the ninth round of the English National League, Maidenhead United are going to face Eastleigh in a Tuesday evening clash.
After a pretty bad start of the campaign, the hosts managed to improve their form lately and they’ve booked seven points in the last three rounds. They are positioned in the bottom half of the table, but they want to climb up the table as soon as possible. Adrian Clifton and the lads have been pretty productive so far, however their bad defending costed them many points. maidenhead United suffered two straight defeats at home, but they managed to improve and pick up four points when playing in front of their fans in the following two games.
Eastleigh got promoted from the National League South last season and they are going to fight for the survival this season. Although they’ve snatched one point more than their rivals, the visitors have suffered five defeats so far. However, they’ve been putting pretty good displays when playing away from home as Andy Hessenthalter’s side managed to get back home with two victories. Their defence is allowing too many goals, while Eastleigh should be looking to improve their attacking work.

Eastleigh have been more successful in their recent head to head clashes, however the hosts managed to book a victory and stay undefeated in the last two encounters. Their matches have been very efficient and in the last eight occasions, the crowd was unable to see more than four goals just once.
