Lillestrom have finally ended a three-game winless streak with 4-1 win Cup win over Brann, bouncing back after losses at Rosenborg and Valerenga as well as a home draw against Brann seen in three games beforehand. They now host Odds Ballklubb hoping to build on such a success and escape the Eliteserien immediate danger zone.
Odds have seen woes of their own recently and we’ve seen them suffer four losses in last five outings, including a Cup thriller at Rosenborg on Wednesday, where they dropped out on penalties after a 2-2 draw. Dag Fagermo’s men have been regularly conceding numbers of goals away from home and this will be even more worrying ahead of the trip to ArAsen Stadion.
Oddrane thus failed to return to the winning ways after league losses to Stabaek and Kristiansund, now sitting in the bottom part of the table and a loss in Kjeller could see them in the danger zone after 13 games played. Lillestroem will be very motivated to capitalize on their defensive woes and we now hope for an exciting clash.
