Kosovo vs Czech Republic
Date: Saturday, 7 September 2019
Kick-off at 14:00 UK/ 15:00 CET
Venue: Fadil Vokrri Stadium (Pristina).
Kosovo is facing their first stern test in this edition of the European Qualifiers, as they prepare to host Czech Republic this weekend.
So far they have lined up thrice in the process to get a ticket to the main event. And in the process have taken heads-on Bulgaria twice, and Montenegro once. While they won once against Bulgaria, the other two ties ended in draws. This placed them third in the table, which has two qualification spots.
The team was included in League B of the recently-concluded UEFA Nations League and was pitted alongside the likes of Azerbaijan, Malta and Faroe Islands – all minnows. They gained promotion to the upper-division, and likely has built up some reservoir of confidence.
Czech, meanwhile, began their Nations League campaign in the second League – B and managed to finish second in the group behind Ukraine. While they failed in their quest for promotion, the fact that they were just three points away from securing it is no mean feat.
Coming to the Euros, they are placed second here too, just behind potential champions of the table, and current toppers England. Also, the squad’s sole loss had come against this rival and won both of their other two fixtures.
Considering that the other two participants in the table – Bulgaria, and Montenegro do not possess much chance in settling in the top-two spots, this match-up has a lot of potentials to determine who ends up in the runner-up position.

Kosovo vs Czech Republic Prediction
The pole position is kind of reserved for England in the table, and as such, the race for the second and final qualification spot will come down to the wire between these two groups. In that regards, expect a fierce contest this Saturday.
The upper hand goes to the guests despite the away handicap. They were included in the second grade of European teams for the inaugural Nations League. Meanwhile their opposite number was put in the bottom-most section.
Moreover, Kosovo has so far taken on the weakest of the lot in the Qualifiers, and still couldn’t break into the top two places, while Czech opened against England, and despite a heavy defeat in that fixture, they still managed to take a hold of the spot just below the toppers.
As such, count on a versatile performance from Czech this Saturday to prolong their stay at the second position.
