Kazakhstan vs Scotland
Europe – Euro Qualifiers
Date: Thursday, 21st March 2019
Kick-off at 15.00 UK/ 16.00 CET
Venue: Astana Arena (Astana).
Both these teams are included in a group that fares Russia and Belgium, with just two spots allotted for progression. In simpler words, every tie matters for the other four squads in contention. As many points need to be amassed if their campaign need not turn into a failure.
Scotland comes into this competition, as well as the game, full of confidence, due to their exemplary performance in the Nations League, League C. They lost just a single game in the whole of group stage games, that too which was a close one against Israel. Rest was all wins.
Kazakhstan may have finished second in their group in League D. But keep note that, they trailed by ten points below toppers Georgia. Also, they had just a single win to their name.

Kazakhstan vs Scotland Prediction
While Kazakh was grouped into League D, of the Nations League, the bottom-most tier of the competition, their opposite number took part in League C. Moreover, the former struggled through all of their games and returned just a single win. They had to finish a mammoth ten points below the eventual group winners. On the other hand, Scotland blasted away their opposition and raced to the topper spot with ease.
On the basis of these recent performances in the world stage, and Scotland’s inclusion in the much more difficult and prestigious League C, I’m inclined to go with a Scot win.
But they are on the road, and they have shown some hardships while away from home. For the reason, I believe the win will not be one-sided. Kazakhstan, who has given good games at home recently, will have a say in the proceedings. They will give their heart on the pitch in front of their home crowd, and it’s difficult to envisage a loss for them for more than a margin of one goal.
