Inter Milan vs Slavia Prague
Date: Tuesday, 16 September 2019
Kick-off at 17:55 UK / 18:55 CET
Venue: Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (San Siro) (Milan).
The Italian outfit have begun their Serie A campaign on a very convincing note and are currently on a formidable three-match winning streak. Their newly added recruit Lukaku has not been shying in getting off the mark either and has already two to his personal tally.
Slavia Prague, on the other hand, are on an unbeaten run of their own, back in their respective domestic campaign. The visitors are on top of the table with seven wins from their last nine games and are also the only side in the ladder that are yet to taste defeat.
Despite it all, both Inter Milan and Slavia Prague are arguably the two teams who are the lesser favorites to make it into the next round, considering that they have been drawn in a cluster dubbed as the “Group of Death”. With home advantage favoring the Nerazzurri in this one, an opening defeat for Slavia Prague is certainly looming large.

Inter Milan vs Slavia Prague Prediction
The hosts have been at the losing end just once in their last twelve competitive games and have found the back of the net seven times from their previous three fixtures alone.
Furthermore, five of those seven came from their clashes on home soil where they have not conceded in their last two games in a running either. The addition of Alexis Sanchez in the ranks is certainly another indication of the threat that they will be in the final third, should he feature on Tuesday.
The away side will be making the trip to the San Siro on the back of a six-match unbeaten run in their outings. However, that alone is not going to cut against Antonio Conte’s men who, in comparison, are a much more experienced and superior side.
Taking into account that Inter has not lost in any of their last seven games at this stadium as well, the win is more than likely to swing in favor of the home team at the end of the ninety minutes.
Nevertheless, Conte can rule out the game to be a walk in the park as the visiting cavalry will not be going down without a fight. The guests have found the back of the net in six of their last seven outings and have racked up five from their previous outings.
Although Inter have been recording back to back clean sheets, Slavia Prague’s offensive record gives us reason to believe that they will be able to breach their opponents with a goal at the most.
