Crystal Palace have only just started their pre-season and they travel to Halmstad for their Monday friendly on the back of a 2-2 draw at FC Helsingor, which has proven a tough task for a side lacking competitive gameplay. They now hope to bounce back to the winning ways and we’ll surely see Roy Hodgson going for a win on the day, although it will not be the prime target.
Halmstads BK come into the match amid their season in Sweden, where they’ve had a solid campaign and currently stand third on the Superettan table, proving themselves as a very tough side to outclass at Orjans Vall. They’ve bagged four wins and a draw in their last five home outings and we’ll now surely see them just as motivated to impress.
However, Premier League rivals have been regularly netting numbers of goals and they will hard to contain, despite some slip-ups seen at the back in their clash against Helsingor. We do feel we’re into a high-scoring contest once again, which should prove exciting for the crowd at Orjans Vall!

We will now back Crystal Palace to return to the winning ways at Orjans Vall and go for an Away win at 1.62, which does feel like value despite seeing the Swedish rivals solid at this ground. They have more depth in quality and should be able to outgun the home side on the day.
However, we do feel they’ll have to score an extra goal to do so, as we also back Over 2.5 goals FT at 1.80. We have seen Crystal Palace regularly scoring numbers of goals and led by Wilfred Zaha up front, they should be able to show their class once again.
