With zero goals to their name and just one draw under their belt, it is no wonder that Guinea Bissau have hit rock bottom in Group F. Their hopes of progressing past the group stage, however, is still alive, with Cameroon being the only group member to clinch an actual win.

Baciro Cande’s side succumbed to an opening loss against Cameroon with the full-time score reading 0-2. They did, however, fare slightly better in their second-round fixture against Benin and snatched their only point in the goalless draw.

Despite making many attempts at goal, the team have managed just one shot on target in the competition so far and have not been able to keep a majority share of possession in any of their games.

James Kwesi Appiah’s men are level on points in the group with Benin, having recorded similar results between them in their last two games. The squad shared the spoils with Benin in the opening clash with match ending in a 2-2, while they were held to a draw against Cameroon in their most recently concluded fixture.

His team have been a lot more clinical up front and have also enjoyed almost equal time on the ball as their opponents in their last two clashes.

Considering that Cande’s men have been inconsistent at the back and even poorer up front, there is little hope for them to take the win in their final clash against Ghana.

The teams have not met each other on any occasion.

Guinea-Bissau vs Ghana Prediction

Ghana are certainly the favourites to walk away with the three points when the teams clash against each against in their last game of the group stage.

Guinea Bissau have not conceded in the first half in any of their previous encounters. The only two goals which they succumbed to, came in the latter half of the game and that too in the span of three minutes.

Appiah’s side, on the other hand, scored two goals in the first half of their opening game. His side also managed five shots on target in their last fixture and are certain to cause quite a few problems for their counterparts in the match on Tuesday.

Considering, Zezinho and his boys have been very poor up front, we can certainly expect the Black Stars to record a clean sheet along with the win at the end of the ninety minutes.
