This is a period of rebuilding for Germany. The once invincible team has really gone through some very rough waters in the last year or so. The fans witnessed their team being bundled out in the first round of the world cup, and then their unexpected relegation from the UEFA Nations League. On top of that, gaffer Joachim Low delivered a surprise announcement that Mats Hummels, Thomas Muller, and Jerome Boateng will not be recalled to the national side.
Serbia did some great work in the Nations League. Though a part of the third tier, with some spirited performances, the team managed to top the group. It was quite an achievement to go the whole group stage unbeaten. The squad returned four wins and two draws.

Germany vs Serbia Prediction
The 4-times World Champions are revamping their football identity and presence for the coming decade. It’s baton to the newcomers, as old guards are no loner in line for selection. It’s important for the team to start on a positive note, considering they are going against an opposition much inferior in quality, and with the additional home advantage.
Serbia did impress in the Nations League, but point to be noted is that it came in the third tier, whereas their counterparts were plying their trade in the top-most section. Moreover, Germany is wounded. Their pride is at stake, and they have been humbled on the world stage for one too many times.
Expect the hosts to come on strong, and dominate the proceedings from early on. He may have had some falls, but Joachim Low is still one of the best coaches of the sport. Trust him to deliver a victory for his country.
