Georgia vs Latvia
UEFA Nations League
Date: Sunday 9th September 2018
Kick off at 17:00 UK/ 18:00 CET
Venue: Boris Paichadze Stadium (Tbilisi).
Georgia won their opening game in the UEFA Nations League with a comprehensive 2-0 win away from home against Kazakhstan. Now they will return home and will be expecting to get another victory when they take on Latvia.
Georgia have overall decent form coming into this game where they have won 4 of their last five games. However their one loss was a surprise as it came against Luxembourg losing that game 1-0 back in June.
They have, in the past, struggled to beat some of the smaller nations including Malta where they could only get a 1-0 win. But then again they have recently beat Lithuania 4-0.
Latvia have been poor this past year and that includes opening up their UEFA Nations League account with a 0-0 draw against Andorra at home. Recent defeats have included Azerbaijan by 3-1 and Korea Republic by 1-0. This year they could only muster up a draw against Faroe Islands.
Georgia vs Latvia: Head to Head

Georgia vs Latvia: Prediction
Georgia are odds on favourites to win this game although they are still decent value. They sometimes make heavy weather of teams that they should be scoring many goals against and one of these should be Latvia on Sunday.
With Georgia being at home our only choice will be to go for them to get the win. They will be motivated after their first game in this competition ended in a win. Latvia have had some poor form and shocking results in recent fixtures and this should continue for them.
