Brescia vs Sassuolo
Italy – Serie A
Date: Friday, 4 September 2019
Kick-off at 19:45 UK / 20:45 CET
Venue: Stadio Mario Rigamonti (Brescia)
Brescia played out two entertaining games at Stadio Mario Rigamonti this season. They’re scoring an average of two goals per game at home, whilst conceding three. That ratio won’t last long, but I’m sure Balotelli and Donnarumma like their chances against one of the league’s worst defences.

Brescia vs Sassuolo: Prediction
Brescia dropped to 15th position after 1-2 loss at the hands of Napoli in the previous round. The Rondinelle, led by Mario Balotelli and one of Italy’s finest young talents, Sandro Toneli, played well at Stadio San Paolo, halved the deficit through ‘Super Mario’ in the second half, but couldn’t find an equaliser.
Brescia will be hoping to end their bad streak at home when they take on Sassuolo on Friday night. Torregrossa is a long-term absentee, Ndoj and Magnani are yet to be evaluated.
Sassuolo, currently 13th in standings, are levelled on points with their next opponent. Hot-and-cold Neroverdi got destroyed at home against Atalanta (1-4) last week. Roberto De Zerbi’s men have conceded four goals in the first half of the game for the second time this season – after fiasco at Olimpico vs Roma.
They will take a short trip up north to face Brescia, and their win-draw-lose record of 0-0-3 on the road doesn’t inspire confidence at all. Injured duo Rogerio and Djuricic will miss this tie.

Sassuolo are struggling on the road, averaging just one goal scored per bout, whilst conceding apalling 2.33. Despite the poor, below average numbers, Neroverdi are a dangerous team with in-form Berardi and Caputo (8 goals combined this season), and I can see them netting here.
All things considered, this should be a good game of football, with goals on both ends. I’ll take BTTS – Yes as my main bet, and pick the hosts to bag two or more as an alternative.
