Zidane: “Cristiano Ronaldo must work harder”

Real Madrid head-coach Zinedine Zidane said at a press conference that Cristiano Ronaldo is well motivated this season and all he needs to do is work harder.

The Frenchman also confirmed that the Portuguese star is very happy at the Santiago Bernabeu and expects to find his scoring touch that he has shown in the past seasons.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s form has been a big concern this season as he often struggled to become the match winner he used to be in the previous seasons.

The Real Madrid coach also said that his players are not concerned by the rumors on a potential transfer move for Barcelona star Neymar.

Zidane believes Neymar is a top player and understands why Florentino Perez wants to sign him.

There are also rumors connecting Real Madrid over a possible move for Bayern Munich’s Polish striker Lewandowski. It is believed that one from ‘BBC’ might be sold to fund the transfer.

Now that the FIFA imposed transfer ban is lifted, the Whites could be in the market next summer to rebuild their squad under the Zidane.

Manchester United goalkeeper De Gea appears to be in their top priority list alongside Lewandowski and according to the latest reports from Spain, Real Madrid have made the decision to repurchase Alvaro Morata from Juventus next summer.
