Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Sheffield United
English League Championship
Date: Saturday, 3rd February 2018
Kick-off at 17:30 UK/ 18:30 CET
Venue: Molineux (Wolverhampton).
The leaders are looking a bit shaken in recent weeks. Goalless draw against team fighting for survival followed by another one in the FA cup and later FA cup exit and home defeat against Nottingham. Wolves probably couldn’t take all the congested fixtures and the team looked tired in those games.
Last round the team wasn’t impressive again but at least managed to find the 3 points. They had a tough visit to Portland road against Ipswich. Doherty opened the score early and from there on wolves proceeded mostly with guarding what they have. They let Ipswich control the tempo and defended deeper than usual. This worked though and they got the 3 points with a minimal victory.
Sheffield’s dream is still alive. The team is just 2 points away from the play-offs and their fans are have faith. The Blades managed to regain some of the form that helped them get even to 3rd place at some point. They went on a 5 game unbeaten run before last game against Aston Villa.
Against Villa United looked a bit toothless up front and missed a few chances. The Villans also looked like they are never going to score until the last minute. Experienced winger Robert Snodgrass managed to find the net right before the end giving Sheffield fans a cold shower.

Wolves vs Sheffield: Predictions
Despite the huge lead Wolves are still looking to win every game. The team has a lot of class and looks ready for the Premier League and will fight for every point available. Sheffield are a decent team but they tend to struggle when put under pressure.
Wolves have the tendency to take a lead and then just shut the game down in the center if the field. The team often keeps clean sheets and with Sheffield not at their best we may see a low scoring game with a heavy midfield battle.
