Wolves vs Sheffield United Prediction
Wolves picked up back to back wins last week, after they edged past Bournemouth with a narrow 2-1 scorecard. The hosts are now unbeaten in their last eight games in the first division, something which they have not been able to accomplish in the past four decades.
At the moment, the home side have climbed to the fifth spot on the ladder, seven points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Sheffield United have been avoiding defeat in their past six games on the trot as well. Their last clash at home saw them hold Manchester United to a thrilling 3-3 draw. While on the road, they salvaged no more than a point against Tottenham after George Baldock canceled Heung Min Son’s opener.
Be that as it may, Wolves have been showing signs of promise in their clashes on home soil, and have tasted success in three of their last four games here. That too, in all competitions. Taking into account that they have also been securing the bragging rights in their previous two matchups with this foe here as well, Wolves are the favorites to bag all three points in this one.
However, the Blades are also the only other team apart from Liverpool to remain unbeaten in their outings. With Sheffield forcing five of their last six opponents on the road to share the spoils with them, the safest punt would be opting to go for a Draw no Bet.
Furthermore, Wolves have not been tough to breach, even with home advantage at hand. The home team have conceded in all but one of their PL games here. On the other hand, irrespective of the result, Sheffield have found the back of the net in five of their previous six outings.
As such, expect both teams to contribute to the scorecards this weekend.
