Welcome folks it’s another great weekend of exciting fixtures in the Premier League. In ‘What to Expect box’ we have seven games to watch out for:
Diego Costa! Diego Costa!! Diego Costa!!!
Diego Costa threw his bib over his head in the direction of boss Jose Mourinho in the sides goalless draw game against Tottenham Hotspur but the Blues are brimming with hopes after picking seven points in three games (in all competitions).
Despite their current form, Chelsea are 15th in the table, five points above the relegation zone. Chelsea facing Bournemouth might seem to be a cheap side but Eddie Howe’s side can pull a surprise because Bournemouth (18th with 10 points) wants to cement a better position on the table to bring back that excitement they brought from the Championship.
Chelsea have not been so convincing this season but Courtois is back from injury and that will be massive boost for them. Costa’s behavior had several fans and pundits criticizing him, would he be in the first XI to face Bournemouth or will still be on sidelines?
Leicester City – ‘Underdogs or Top Dogs’
Yes, you can call them underdogs but take it or leave it they are just second with a better goal difference to Man City. Cluadio Ranieri revealed last week that his side are just vying for 40 points but I can strongly tell you that if Leicester City win the league it’s going to be a plus and history.
Man of the moment Jamie Vardy is fresh from breaking Nistelrooy’s record, but can he continue his splendid performance against Swansea City who are observing difficult times. Gary Monk is already in hot waters with the Club on 15 position with 14 points. Who carries the day?
High Flying City, Rough and Tough Stoke
Man City are playing away to strong and physical Stoke City, who are seeking to bounce back from their 2-0 defeat away to Sunderland last weekend. High flying Man City have 29 points same as second position Club Leicester City; while Stoke City are lying 12th with 22 points. Can Man City win this game to put pressure on their title hopes and deal with the injuries of Yaya Toure and Kun Aquero?
Van Gaal is boring
Van Gaal has come under immense criticisms this season regarding his style of play. Even Paul Scholes was fuming with anger a while ago.
Red Devils will test whether Martial could find his goal scoring boot once again because Rooney is out due to injury. But coming up against a West Ham side which have been stubborn beating the big guns this season presents a tough task for the hosts.
West Ham are hit by injury issues (Demitri Payet and Sakho) are few instrumental players for them but how would Man United fared against Westham United?
Klopp pass first Litmus Test
Liverpool fans are smiling because they are very much impressed with how Jurgen Klopp is working with the Club 11 outings with just a lost is very good for the Reds with four points into the top four and six points off leaders, coming up against Newcastle could revealed a different story, Steve McClaren is not a happy man because of poor run of result with huge margins with just 10 points in the bitter part of the league. Would Liverpool continue their consistent form or Newcastle giving us a surprise package?
Spurs Slowly Sneaking inside the Top 4
So far so good, Tottenham Hotspur have not lost a game since their first Premier League 1-0 own goal defeat to Man United.
Spur’s campaign under Mauricio Pochettino has been great and his boys are traveling to West Bromwich Albion this weekend. If they win this game, it will sneak them through into the top four, while West Brom are to grab the maximum points to push them up from the 13th spot on the league log.
Can Mauricio Pochettino and his youngsters endure their unbeaten streak or West Brom putting full stop to Spurs performance?
Arsenal : Injuries and Title Chances !
Injury scrapped Arsenal want to mount pressure on their title credentials, they had just two points out of possible nine in the just ended month. Is Arsenal going to turn things round in this month or they will give us the same story as last month?
Big Sam looks little relieve after getting himself two consecutive wins but going to the Emirates Stadium to face a side he has never ride over since 2010 and losing his top scorer for the season (Jamain Defoe) do not taste good for him. Maybe he can Surprise you and me so let’s hope and see how he will perform.
