West Ham United vs Manchester United
English Premier League
Date: Saturday 5th December 2020
Kick off at 15:00 UK/ 16:00 CET
Venue: London Stadium (Stratford).
West Ham have been in good form and the club come into this game in 5th place. Their last match ended in a 2-1 win over Aston Villa and David Moyes side will be happy to be playing their second game in a row at home.
The Hammers have surprised many people this season, even their own fans thought they would struggle. But the club have put a good run together and have won their last 3 matches in a row.
West Ham could climb into the top four with a win at the weekend and at home the London side has the 2nd best record in the league having won 10 of their 15 points available.
Manchester United have picked up form in the Premier League and have won their last 3 games in a row. They are in 9th place but just one point behind West Ham and so would go past them with victory.
Last weekend was special for the club who were 2-0 down to Southampton with just 30 minutes of the game left to play and yet won 3-2. They were inspired by the brilliant Edinson Cavani who scored 2 goals and assisted in the other for a man of the match performance.
However there would be disappointment in midweek when United lost at home to PSG by 3-1 in the Champions League. That defeat puts United’s hopes of qualifying for the knock out stages of the competition on ice and it will all come down to the final game of the season which is being played next week.
Whilst Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team have had mixed form their away credentials are second to none and they have won all 4 games on the road, scoring an average of 3 goals per match.

West Ham vs Manchester United: Prediction
This isn’t an easy prediction to make because both sides are capable of winning. West Ham have been solid this season but not spectacular and were very lucky to get their win against Aston Villa.
Manchester United under Solskjaer can look like champions and then look unbalanced. They go through great moments of form and then nosedive.
United’s away form has been brilliant but then again how long can they keep that up for? West Ham always raise their game against the big six clubs, and we think they can score a few here and make life difficult for the visitors.
