Watford have been demanding respect in their clashes at home lately. With Everton yet to get into their stride on the road, the tag of favorites certainly goes to the hosts on Saturday.
Watford vs Everton Match Preview
Watford had their hearts broken in their last clash in the Premier League after Tyron Mings bagged a late winner to help Aston Villa post a 2-1 scorecard. The defeat has subsequently brought their one month long, six-match unbeaten run to an abrupt halt.
Nevertheless, the hosts are currently just a point shy of propelling themselves out of the relegation zone for the first time in their campaign.
On the other hand, Everton have been sharing the spoils in their past two fixtures on the trot. Disappointingly they have also come away with the win just thrice in their last eight clashes in the top flight.
With just thirty points in the bag, the visitors are sitting twelfth on the ladder. Needless to say, a defeat this week would certainly jeopardize the Toffee’s hopes of breaking into the top ten.

- Both teams have found the back of the net together in just two of their previous seven meetings.

Watford vs Everton Prediction
Watford have certainly hit the ground running at home, and have not tasted defeat here since their 3-0 loss to Burnley back in November. The hosts have since gone on to pick up a win thrice, and have also dropped points on just two occasions.
In sharp contrast, Everton have been struggling to get things going for them on the road this season. Miserably, they have just two measly wins from their last twelve outings.
It is also worth mentioning that the Toffees have failed to secure the bragging rights in each of their last four visits here. With home advantage favoring Watford in this one, Everton are facing the prospect of admitting defeat.
Be that as it may, the hosts have been held to a draw five times already at home. Given that Everton have also salvaged a point in three of their outings so far, a double chance is sizing up to be the safest punt this weekend.
Furthermore, Watford have scored just eleven goals on home soil. As of now, only Crystal Palace have scored fewer goals at home this season.
Meanwhile, Everton have not been keen on racking up the goal scoring charts on the road either, and have found the back of the net just twice from their last two outings.
Given that three out of their past four h2h meetings here have also featured fewer than 2.5 goals on the charts, rule out any possibilities of a high scoring affair in this one.
