Last week’s win vs Genoa meant the world to Udinese players I’m willing back Luca Gotti’s men, although in safer, draw-no-bet market against toothless Spalini.

Udinese vs SPAL: Prediction

Managerless Udinese bounced back from two humiliating defeats in succession to beat Genoa 3-1. Igor Tudor got the sack prior to the game and Luca Gotti, former Maurizio Sarri’s assistant at Chelsea, took over as an interim manager and did a splendid job.

It appears he’s not interested in the job, though, so Zebrette’s front office will probably hire Zenga, Longo or Ballardini – after SPAL game. Udinese are currently 12th in the standings with win-draw-loss record of 4-1-6.

Stryger Larsen is out with an injury. There are no suspension in the team.

SPAL dropped to the bottom of the league following a stoppage-time loss to Sampdoria.

Gli Spalini looked as dangerous as ever at Paolo Mazza Stadium and produced a fair share of goal-scoring chances, but most of ther shots were well off the mark. Winless in four games, they will try to snap their bad run on Sunday, but their away record does not inspire confidence whatsoever.

D’Alessandro, Di Francesco and Fares are on the injury-list.

Udinese have win-draw-loss record of 3-0-3 at Friuli. The Zebrette are averaging 0.67 goals per game at this ground, whilst conceding 1.33 per tie. They were the most underish team in the league after 8 matches – since then we’ve seen 16 goals in three games.

The Spalini have lost all five games on the road so far and scored zero goals in the process. They’re allowing 1.80 goals per game on their travels. Leonardo Semplici’s men have conceded two or more in four of five games away from Ferrara.

Last week’s win vs Genoa meant the world to Udinese players I’m willing to back them, although in safer, draw-no-bet market.

Even though SPAL are dreadful on the road, Udinese should not be trusted blindly. Their pattern is broken and SPAL won’t go all-out-attack like the Rossoblu’s.

I’ll also take Rodrigo De Paul to score anytime with juicy odds. The Argentine has scored 9 goals last season and he’s taking 2.5 shots per game – more than anyone else in black & white shirt.
