Tottenham Hotspur welcome Southampton to the White Hart Lane in their home game of the English Premier League 2015/16 on Sunday afternoon; kick-off at 13:30 GMT.
The Spurs are coming on the back of a 2-2 draw against Chelsea last last Monday, a result which confirmed Leicester as the new Premier League Champions. Now that the title bid is over and having qualified for Champions League, Pochettino and his men are far more relaxed and will be looking to finish their excellent season in style.
Meanwhile, Southampton beat Manchester City 4-2 last weekend, in one of their best performances of the season. The Saints are in good form lately and they are coming on the back of consecutive wins. They are 7th in the league table with 57 points and their chances of climbing up to the Europa League qualification spot are less.

Tottenham vs Southampton: Head-to-Head
- Tottenham are on a 7 match unbeaten run against Southampton, with 6 wins and a draw.
- At White Hart Lane, the Spurs are on a four match winning streak and the last time they missed out on a win was in 2003, when Saints won it 3-1.
- The reverse fixture of this season between the sides finished 2-0 in favor of the Spurs.
Tottenham vs Southampton: Prediction
Both teams are coming on the back of some strong form – Spurs are unbeaten in their last 8 league games, while Southampton are unbeaten in their last 4. Each of them are in good scoring form and this will set the stage for an entertaining encounter on Saturday evening.
I expect Harry Kane to get on the score sheet once again and also eager to see how Mane responds after the wonderful performance against City last week.
Tottenham are clearly the dominant side in the recent meetings between the sides, especially when they are playing at home. So I expect them to keep their winning run at home intact and edge this by 3-1.
