Tottenham vs Roma
International Champions Cup
Date: Wednesday, 26th July 2017
Kick-off at 1:00 UK/ 2:00 CET
Venue: Red Bull Arena (New Jersey).
AS Roma look for their first win at the International Champions Cup, when they meet Tottenham at the Red Bull Arena on Tuesday night.
Spurs demolished PSG 4-2 in their opening match of the competition. It was a surprise result by all means, with the North Londoners being in action for the first time in this pre-season.
Roma drew 1-1 with PSG in their tournament opener and eventually lost the match in penalties. The Italians won their two previous friendly matches in the summer, defeating Czech outfit Slovacko 1-0 and lower division domestic club Pinzolo 8-0.
The Giallorossi’s next opponent in the tournament is domestic rivals Juventus, on July 30. They will then meet Sevilla in a friendly on 10th of August.
Spurs play Manchester City next, at the Nissan Stadium on 29th July and commence their pre-season with a friendly against Juventus at Wembley on 5th August.

This is the first meeting between the two clubs.
Tottenham vs Roma: Prediction
Fitness matters in these matches, especially early in the season. If this is the case Roma are in better shape than their opponents after having a fair share of playing time under their belt.
However, their new head-coach Eusebio Di Francesco will be looking for a vast improvement in the attacking third. The team managed 1 goal each in the previous two fixtures, with their midfield struggling to create any meaningful chance. Normally, Spurs can be too tough to break down for the best attacking units in the globe.
On the other hand, Spurs looked more fluid in the opening match than their Tuesday’s opponent. If Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane can repeat their performance in the 4-2 demolition of PSG, they are certain to win here.
