Torino vs Sassuolo
2017/18 Italian Serie A.
Date: Sunday, 27 August 2017
Kick-Off: 17:00 UK,
Venue: Stadio Olimpico (Turin).
After a frustrating start, Torino will be hoping to get back on track as they host Sassuolo at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday evening.
The Granata were quite disappointed to have to settle for a draw against Bologna, but they certainly can earn their first victory against Sassuolo. Torino were hoping to earn a spot in the Europa League but struggled due to some defensive collapses and finished outside a European spot.
However, Sassuolo did even worse. The Neroverdi qualified for the Europa League but their debut campaign was an utter disaster and they struggled with the demands of competing on multiple fronts. All in all, the Neroverdi lost 18 out of their 38 Serie A matches, but finished in 12th due to how some of the other sides fared and arguably, Torino will be looking forward to earning all three points in this clash.
Torino aren’t a side that will be hunkering down, and certainly, it was going forward that cost them at times against bigger sides. That could help Sassuolo hope to try to grab a goal here, especially after they fired blanks in a frustrating scoreless draw with Genoa last weekend.
Andrea Belotti, who was among the top scorers in the league last season will be eager to open his account here as well.

Torino vs Sassuolo: Prediction
Torino have their share of still defensive problems, which should give Sassuolo a chance to score as well. The Granata should have no problems getting at least a draw, although anything less than three points will be a major disappointment.
