PSG captain Thiago Silva says Zlatan Ibrahimovic qualities would decline if the latter moves to the Premier League next season.
Ibrahimovic has being heavily linked with a move to top Premier League clubs with Skysports sources claiming on Monday that, the Swede prefers to play for Man United next season if Louis van Gaal leaves the Club.
The 34-year-old has conquered Holland, Italy, Spain and France but yet to taste England in his professional career as the closest he has come was his Academy days with Arsenal.
While Zlatan feels it is a new challenge for him, Thiago Silva who has played alongside the former since their stint at AC Milan thinks other wise.
“He is my good friend, but also at 34 he is playing the best football of his career.
“He is one of the best in the world, he is unique, there is not another player like him.
Of course I want him to stay at PSG, I cannot imagine us without him.
“I know he has offers from England – and it is a big league – but I don’t think there is a team in England that is at the level of PSG at the moment.
“For me it would be a step down in quality for him,” the Brazil international added.
With eight games left for PSG who are runaway winners of the French Ligue 1, Zlatan Ibrahimovic leads the goal scoring chart with 30 goals, 14 goals gap between him and his chaser Hatem Ben Arfa.
No one can despise the fact that he is one of the best strikers in the world, Zlatan has been an influential player to lead the lines for any Club he has found himself around the globe in.
To many football enthusiast Zlatan Ibrahimovic has more to offer the Premier League if he did not extend his few months yet to run out contract with PSG and signs for any English side.
