Switzerland looks to rekindle there poor form when they host Moldova Stadio di Cornaredo, Lugano on Friday 3rd June 2016.
After their smooth qualification for the Euro 2016 competition in France, Switzerland have been on a poor form, the two friendlies they played in the ending of 2015 recorded a loss against Slovakia and a win against Austria, the three friendlies played this year 2016 have all ended in defeats, the lost 1-0 away to Republic of Ireland in Dublin, later in March 28 they lost 2-0 at home against Bosnia and Herzegovina at Zurich and on 29th May they also lost 2-1 at home to Belgium in Geneva making it 4 loses in 5 games. With this as their last warm up game before the competition, they hope to grab nothing but a win to enter the Competition in high spirit.
Moldova on the other hand failed to qualify for the Euro competition after they finished bottom of the group with only 2 points, they failed to register a win throughout the qualifying campaign as they lost 8 of the 10 games played and drew 2. Also their poor form continued after the qualification campaign, they have lost 2 of their last 4 friendly games drew 1 and won 1. They will be hoping for a win in this match as they are only playing for pride.

Switzerland vs Moldova: Head to Head
These two teams have only played twice in 2009 during 2010 World Cup qualification campaign. The two games was won 2-0 each by Switzerland irrespective of the playing ground, which keeps Switzerland undefeated against Moldova.
Switzerland vs Moldova: Prediction
Even with Switzerland’s recent poor form, they are still huge favourites in this fixture. The two teams seem to be in poor form though but i have more confident in Switzerland team.
I expect an outright win from the Swiss.
