Sweden starts their preparations for Euro 2016 with a friendly against Slovenia at the Swedbank Stadion in Malmo on Monday evening.
The Swedes found booked their ticket to France after defeating neighbors Denmark on aggregate in the play-offs. Their inspirational captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic played a vital role in both the legs of fixtures by scoring 3 of the 4 goals. Zlatan was rested in the last two friendlies played in March and they haven’t fared well in his absence after losing against Turkey and held to a draw by Czech Republic. Head coach Erik Hamren will be keen to test his bench strength and perfect the tactics before the tournament kick-off on 10th June.
Slovenia failed to qualify for the Euros after losing to Ukraine in the play-offs. In the two friendlies played in March 2016, Slovenia rather struggled in the 1-0 win over a lowly Macedonia and then lost 1-0 to Northern Ireland six days later. Slovenia have a poor away record in recent times, as they lost 10 of their last 12 games on the road.

Sweden will go into this game as slight favorites on the back of their good home form. They are unbeaten in their last four games at home, but the last two matches were draws.
Slovenia struggle on the road as they had lost 10 of their last 12, and their two wins came against weaker sides like San Marino and Lithuania. They are not expected to trouble Sweden on Monday evening.
A 2-0 win for Sweden is expected in the friendly, and betting on under 2.5 goals is highly recommended.
