Strasbourg vs Monaco
France – Ligue 1
Date: Wednesday 3rd March 2021
Kick off at 20:00 UK/ 21:00 CET
Venue: Stade de la Meinau.
Strasbourg are in 15th place and with 30 points they are not safe from the drop. But recent form has been good and the club have gone their last three games undefeated.
The last two have been draws for Strasbourg who drew 1-1 at Lille last weekend in a great performance and they almost pulled off a shock victory at Lille as they were winning 1-0.
At home it has been just 3 wins for Strasbourg but their recent form has really improved and the club have only lost once in their last five games here.
Monaco took some time to get to grips with their weekend game at home to Brest but eventually won that game 2-0. Monaco are in 4th place and have to be considered serious title challengers given that they are just 4 points behind the league leaders Lille.
Monaco have earned 13 points from 15 and are looking very consistent and away from home they have won their last 5 in a row. Monaco have no draws this season on the road and have won an impressive 8 games from 13 played.

Strasbourg vs Monaco: Prediction
We expect to see goals in this game because when these two clubs get together there simply is. Monaco are loaded with goals and Strasbourg are in good form and won’t be afraid to come out and attack at times.
One player who has been underwhelming this season has been Wissam Ben Yedder the Monaco forward. But we will back him to score in this game. Note he scored two goals in the clubs last meeting so he is worth looking into.
This is a very difficult game for Monaco, forget the league standings, but of course they will be motivated to win and should do.
