St. Mirren vs Livingston
2018/19 Scottish Premiership
Date: Saturday, 25th August 2018
Kick-off at 15:00 UK/ 16:00 CET
Venue: The Simple Digital Arena (Paisley).
Livingston will travel to face ST Mirren this weekend as they start life without Kenny Miller in the Scottish Premier League.
Meanwhile, ST Mirren are still struggling to put their defense in other, thy have hardly defended the chances they deal with in games. They have been conceding bad goals which have changed the outcome of some of their games which should have favored them.
Much of the blames can easily go to the players despite the fact that thy have played 2 of the top 3 teams in Scottish league in the last 2 weeks. They have 3 points in the league after the first 2 games but are out of the cup and will focus solely on the league. Making top half of the league before the fixture split should be ST Mirren’s priority.
Livingston announced that player manager Kenny Miller would step down earlier this week. The 38-year-old refused to hang up his boot to concentrate on managerial duty which led to him and the board parting ways on mutual consent.
Miller guided Livingston to some decent results having lost just twice, won 3 games and drawn 3 times in his short tenure.
However, Livi have just 1 point in this new season after 2 games but we can’t yet judge how well they will do this season.
