South Korea vs Bosnia & Herzegovina: Match Preview

Bosnia & Herzegovina have seen yet another goalless draw as they hosted Montenegro on Monday and although we’ve seen many chances, Robert Prosinecki’s men just failed to convert. They still have a three-game unbeaten streak behind them as they travel to Jeonju World Cup Stadium on Friday and we do hope to see a confident outfit in a solid challenge to World Cup contestants South Korea.

South Korea come into the match on the back of a 2-0 win over Honduras, ending a two-game losing streak after being beaten in narrow clashes by both Northern Ireland and Poland back in March. They have been regularly netting and conceding numbers of goals and this could finally be a chance for Bosnian Dragons to score goals as well.

Taegeuk Warriors obviously have more to play for as they look desperate to reach some consistency ahead of the final tournament in Russia and tough group with Germany, Sweden, and Mexico – but they’ll be in for no walk in a park on the day either.

South Korea vs Bosnia & Herzegovina: Head-to-head

  • This will be only the second head-to-head clash for the sides ever.
  • Korea Republic have bagged a 2-0 win over the rivals in Seoul back in 2006, with goals from Seol Ki-Hyeon and Cho Jae-Jin.
  • This clash doesn’t come at the best time possible for Bosnia & Herzegovina.

South Korea vs Bosnia & Herzegovina: Prediction

We will now back South Korea to another narrow win over the rivals, backing a one-goal winning margin and hoping not to see an early goal on the day. We rarely see Bosnia concede many goals but just one could be enough to tip the contest their way, as the visitors netted one goal in their last five games.

We are used to low-scoring games on their end and we will now go for another such occasion as well, backing Under 2.5 goals FT as more of a banker bet. All of Bosnia’s last five games ended with one goal or fewer and two of South Korea’s last four with two or fewer, which could be further evidence.

South Korea vs Bosnia & Herzegovina Betting Tips
