Slovakia vs Netherlands
International Friendly

Venue: City Arena Trnava (Trnava).
Slovakia have been in fine form recently and they’ve connected a three-game winning streak since the 2-1 loss in a friendly clash against Ukraine back in November, as they beat Norway, United Arab Emirates, and Thailand. They now host Netherlands hoping to build on such performances but it’s fair to say in-form Oranje will be much more of a challenge for Jan Kozak’s men.
Netherlands come into the match on the back of a great 0-3 win over Portugal, returning to the winning ways after a narrow 0-1 loss to England in March as they bagged a sixth win in seven outings across competitions.
Ronald Koeman will now want to build on it ahead of the UEFA Nations League clashes in September, as they share a very tough Group with France and Germany. They boast a rock-solid defensive tally and we rarely see them concede goals recently as Netherlands kept clean sheets in four of their last five games – beating Sweden, Scotland, and Romania ahead of the mentioned loss to England.
However, it comes at the best time possible for Netherlands and we do feel they can build on the great head-to-head records, as we back them to their seventh win in eight games at 2.10. We’ve seen them impress against stronger rivals recently and this does look like a great value!
We don’t believe it will come as easy, though, and Oranje could have to outgun the rivals to secure a win. With that in mind, we will now also go for a high-scoring contest and back Over 2.5 goals FT at 2.05, which seems a great approach to the fixture by itself and has attracted many value-seekers already.
