Sheffield Wednesday vs Hull City
English League Championship
Date: Saturday, 11th August 2018
Kick-off at 15:00 UK/ 16:00 CET
Venue: Hillsborough (Sheffield).
Two ambitious sides which lost their opening fixtures are facing each other on Saturday. Sheffield Wednesday are hoping to revive themselves after their disastrous season but the same plan lies ahead of Hull City.
Sheffield Wednesday lost to the newly promoted Wigan. In an entertaining fixture which had almost everything a crowd loves the eventual winner was Athletic. The Owls were trailing back in the result since 11th minute and never managed to catch their opponents.
Sheffield hired Luhukay last season after Carlos Carvalhal failed to bring another playoffs to the team. The Dutch coach who has promoted team in Germany on previous occasions is now heavily relied to bring back good fortunes to the side.
Hull like their current opponents had a very difficult season following their relegation from the Premier League. The Tigers didn’t start well this campaign either. A home defeat to Aston Villa after a complete turnaround hit them hard.
The main problem before Hull last season was their defensive line as it leeched too many easy goals. The same inability to keep their goal intact ensured anther loss at the start of this season. Now they have to keep Sheffield Wednesday at bay at Hillsborough which is not the easiest task possible.

Sheffield Wednesday vs Hull: Predictions
After the opening round both sides have been looking a bit shaky. The teams let 3 goals each and that’s not to be proud of. On the brighter side both Hull and Sheffield Wednesday scored in their opening games. Similar game should be expected again between two evenly matched sides.
