Sevilla vs Valencia Prediction Spanish LaLiga by LeagueLane

Sevilla vs Valencia
Spanish La Liga
Date: Sunday, 31 March 2019
Kick-Off at 15:15 UK/ 16:15 CET
Venue: Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, Seville.

Sevilla have seen a very unpredictable spell of form prove costly as they crashed from Europa League in a thriller loss at Slavia Prague, which was their fourth loss in eight outings across competitions. They’ve bounced back with a 0-1 loss at Espanyol since but now head into another tough task as they host Valencia for their Matchday 29 clash on Sunday.

Sevillistas have proven themselves a tougher nut to crack at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan but still have a lot to prove, after beating Real Sociedad in La Liga and Schalke in a friendly in their last two outings. They’ve been conceding numbers of goals on the regular beforehand and this will be more worrying for Joaquin Caparros.

Valencia will now have great plans to capitalize on the rivals’ woes and jump them on the league table, as they enjoy a better moment now amid a 15-game unbeaten streak across competitions. They’ve beaten Krasnodar in a 3-2 aggregate win in Europa League while only Getafe ended their winning streak in La Liga with a goalless draw at Mestalla midway through March.

Sevilla vs Valencia: Head-to-head

Sevilla haven’t beaten Valencia in four head-to-head clashes since November 2016.

Valencia snatched a 0-2 win on their last trip to this ground, which was their only win here in 15 years.

The sides shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Mestalla earlier this term, as Mouctar Diakhaby found the last-minute equalizer for Los Che.

Sevilla vs Valencia: Prediction

We will now back Valencia to keep up their unbeaten streak and snatch an important point at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, as we go for the second consecutive draw between the sides at 3.50. We don’t feel Sevilla can shake off the feeling just yet but we don’t see them falling victims at an important time either.

We do expect goals and an exciting contest between the sides and we’ll thus also go for a YES on Both teams to score, which comes at 1.70. We have seen both sides scoring goals on the regular and we now hope for an attacking approach once again in a clash which could mean a lot for their top 4 ambitions later in the campaign.
