Senegal vs Tunisia
Africa Cup of Nations
Date: Sunday, 14 July 2019
Kick off at 17:00 UK / 18:00 CET
Venue: 30 June Stadium.
Tunisia took everyone by surprise in the previous round against Madagascar when they dumped their usual defensive self and went for a full-on offensive mentality right from the kick-off.
The squad won the game by an impressive 3-0 scoreline and had made 16 attempts at goal by the end of the ninety minutes, the most ever by them in the tournament so far. The game failed to see any goals at either end in the first forty-five minutes, but that was not the case after the restart.
Sassi broke the deadlock seven minutes after the ball began rolling, followed by Msakni eight minutes later. The match was put beyond doubt in stoppage time with Sliti finding the back of the net with a neat lob over the goalkeeper.
The Tunisians certainly bossed that game and fair play to them for not picking up a single yellow card throughout the tie.
Senegal, on the other hand, was not able to record a win with a similar goal difference in their quarterfinal clash with Benin. Gueye slotted the only goal of the game in the 69th minute to give the Lions of Teranga the narrow edge over their foes.
You can be certain that both the sides will be going for nothing but the win in their fixture on Sunday. Tunisia are unbeaten in the competition so far, while Senegal have just one loss to their name which was against Algeria, who have also made it into the last four.

Senegal vs Tunisia Prediction
The semi-final tie between the two teams is likely to see Senegal clinch the win and pave their way to the finals.
Aliou Cisse’s men have failed to keep a clean sheet in just one of their games so far, while their opponents have just two in total to their name. The squad have also been very active in the final third and have racked up seven goals in the process and have conceded not more than two.
Apart from the last game, the Tunisians have not found the back of the net more than once by the end of regulation time.
So in comparison, Senegal are by far the favorites to take the win in what could well be a low scoring clash.
