The 27-year-old who has netted 18 goals in 26 outings in all competitions for Man City this season at the Etihad Stadium is expected to lead the attack for Man City against Dynamo Kyiv in Ukraine on Tuesday and Liverpool in League Cup Final on Sunday, has revealed his mental strength in cagey games.

”The butterflies are always there that’s normal in any game when it is a final, you just want to get the preparation over and play.

“Obviously you are wanting to do well, but as soon as you are out on the field that anxiety tends to go away once you start enjoying yourself in the game once you get on the ball, the nerves go.

Despite being fussy in final games, the Argentina International loves to enjoy such experience on the field of play.

“I like to have the same mental approach as when I was a kid I like to enjoy it, whether it is training or a game.

“It is important somebody still has to win and lose, but the main thing is to enjoy it and that is the kind of attitude I take into training and into games,” he told Skysports.

Manchester City are on the way to Ukraine for the Champions League knock-out round of 16 tie against Dynamo Kiev on Wednesday, scheduled kick off at 19.45 GMT.
