Scotland vs San Marino Prediction

The Scottish outfit have been admitting back to back defeats in their last two clashes on home soil. However, to their defense, both of those games were against the top two sides of the cluster.

Their only taste of success at home so far has come against Cyprus, apart from which they also picked up all three points against San Marino on the road. The visitors have been reduced to nothing but a punching bag in their respective matches and have been suffering humiliating defeats in all of their games.

Furthermore, the away side are yet to find the back of the net in their clashes and have so far conceded an alarming total of twenty-eight goals, which is the most by any team in the ladder. It is also worth mentioning that San Marino have been showing no conviction whatsoever in front of goal, and have managed a combined total of just three shots on target from their last three outings.

Taking into account that the visitors have failed to come away with bragging rights in all of their previous head to head matches as well, the clash on Sunday is sizing up to be a walk in the park for Scotland.

Additionally, the guests have not kept a clean sheet at half time in any of their games and have been breached consistently throughout the ninety minutes. To make matters worse for the San Marino faithful, the home team have had their scoring boots on in their previous meetings with this foe too and even scored a goal in both halves when they last met.

With a defense as leaky as the one that San Marino have, Scotland should be able to grab a couple of goals before the break and post the restart as well.
