Scotland are up against the world Cup 2nd runner up Belgium on Friday. Though it’s a friendly game, it’s a good warm up for Scotland as they prepare for National League opener against Albania.
Scotland new manager McLeish who was appointed in February have only seen a win and 3 defeats since he took over. This is the second time he is being appointed to Manger Scotland’s national team.
Though he hasn’t been fantastic in since he took charge, he has succeeded I’m bringing in youngsters into the team. Also Naismith has made the list, he scored a hat trick over the weekend for Hearts against St Mirren. Despite this, we think it will be a very tough game for Scotland.
Belgium finished 3rd place in the World Cup as they were beaten 1-0 in the semifinals by France. They started the tournament smoothly, overcoming Panama and Tunisia before winning England 1-0 I the final group stage game.
They went further by defeating Japan 3-2 with a superb come back from 2-0 down. They also kicked out Brazil 2-1 in the quarter-finals before losing to France in the semi-finals.
