Santos Laguna and Toluca take on each other in the battle for the Clausura trophy over two legs within the following three days. The first one is about to be played on Thursday evening at Estadio Nuevo Corona where Santos Laguna will try and gain advantage ahead of the rematch in Toluca.

The Argentine striker Julio Furch took his league tally to 16 when he bagged a brace in a comprehensive 4-1 win over America at Estadio Nuevo Corona. He makes a deadly attacking duo together with team’s top scorer Djaniny who has 19 goals to his name. This duo should have plenty of space to create up front knowing that Toluca conceded two goals in each of last two away games in the competition (against Morelia and Tijuana).
