Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger has disclosed that Santi Cazorla could return on the month of March amid waiting for news on the latter’s injury.
Cazorla who is 30-years-old picked up a knee injury following a collision with Norwich city’s Gary O’Neil but managed to play full throttle of the game.
The Spain international is yet to know his injury fate but when Arsenal Wenger was asked whether the injury extent will be till March, he responded saying: ‘’it’s possible.’’
Arsenal are also waiting on injury news of Alexis Sanchez while Luarent Koscielny alongside Theo Walcott wait to pass late fitness test ahead of Sunderland’s clash on Saturday.
Cazorla has been one of the top performers for Arsenal this season after having featured in all of the 14 matches for the Gunners so far this season. His influence at the center of the field will be solely missed and Wenger will be forced to buy players in January transfer window to cover up for the loss of both Cazorla and Coquelin.
The French boss has come under fire from both media and fans after statistics revealed that Arsenal have had more injured players than any other Premier League team since 2010.
The Gunners will lock horns with Sunderland on Saturday, 5th December 2015, at the Emirates Stadium looking to bounce back from their 1-1 draw against Norwich City over the last weekend.
