Rumours: Laurent Blanc to replace Louis Van Gaal at Manchester United

Sources at Old Trafford reveals that the hierarchy see PSG manager Laurent Blanc as the Perfect replacement for under fire manager Louis Van Gaal.

Van Gaal has come under heavy pressure after his side’s “Shambolic” display at Anfield which resulted in a 2-0 loss in the Europa League first leg fixture.

United have drifted low to 6th position in the Premier League and are 4 points below 4th placed Manchester City.

Having left Champions League in the group stages, United only chances of Playing in the Champions League next season is by making it into top four, a task which is realisable but hard.

It is now rumoured that Manchester United are now lining up The former United defender (Laurent Blanc) to take over at Old Trafford from Louis Van Gaal

According to Daily Star, Laurent Blanc emerged as shock favourites to replace Louis Van Gaal as the next head-coach at Old Trafford.

Although Manchester United bosses have continued to back the Dutch boss publicly, Laurent Blanc who played his last game for United in 2003 is being speculated as the next Manchester United manager.

Laurent Blanc has achieved a lot of success in his reign as PSG manager, he has won successive Ligue 1 titles with the current Champions and has eliminated Chelsea from the Uefa Champions League consecutively.

Laurent Blanc’s PSG are currently in the Champions league quarter final and have already won the Ligue 1 title with 9 games remaining as they 22 points ahead of second place Monaco.

Sources close to Blanc has also said he is keen to try his managerial abilities in other different Leagues.
